THE MD COLLABORATIVE OPEN HOUSE
Metro Collaborative continues to find new ways to contribute to concentrated engagements in healthcare. So, this month, in addition to our dinner, we collaborated with Shannon Harris of The Caron Foundation to host a special open house. The medical director of Caron, Joseph M. Garbely, D.O., FASAM, will be joining us as our special guest. Dr. Garbely holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and a Special Qualification Certification through the ABPN in Psychosomatics. He has a great deal of experience in co-occurring psychiatric disorders, emergent medical and psychiatric issues and the treatment of healthcare professionals, executives and pilots who suffer from substance use disorders. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Penn State University, Hershey School of Medicine, as well as a member of the medical staff at Reading Health System. As the Addiction Medicine Fellowship Director, Dr. Garbely is eminently involved in educating the next generation of addiction treatment professionals
