THE DCMD COLLABORATIVE DINNER MEETING

Our efforts lately:
We just finished exciting dinners with our four D.C. area groups and an open house at the Caron Foundation in Bethesda. We are inviting independent clinicians to an open house hosted by Gallery 57 Dental (24 W 57th) on 6/15, 6;00-9:00 PM.  (Space is limited. There will be a separate announcement. We will limit to about 30 clinicians.) Most of this event will resemble a party. Some of it will focus on innovative collaborations and technology.

Preparing for dinner:
For our dinner, let us facilitate a single conversation that informs us of what most essential, complementing our knowledge with a focus on active referrals. A deeper understanding of wellness functional collaborative practices.  No need to bring a script but please plan a 5-minute to 7-minute talk on practice, your work, successes, and even your failures. Help us better understand your processes and strengths. Consider presenting a problem case that might lend itself to an interdisciplinary approach. Communicate who is a good referral and how best to refer a patient. If we have time, we might discuss cross-disciplinary processes and systems.

Update:
A continued fragmentation of services abounds for persons seeking a functional, integrative life and for those with acute or chronic issues wanting practical solutions. Collaboration takes time, humility and cooperation. We continue to expand, slowly.  In Manhattan, innovation continues with a plethora of micro practice popping up all over the island.  Issues with space, time, marketing and technology abound.
