"Warm, direct, and supportive, Andrew is committed to helping clients live authentically and regain a sense of choice, power, and meaning in their lives."
Andrew Kaplan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Midtown Manhattan, specializing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Andrew works with adults of all ages to help them overcome the barriers to living a full and authentic life. A professional writer, Andrew also has a special interest in helping individuals in the arts to deal with creative blocks and to manage conflicts between their artistic process and the rest of their day-to-day responsibilities.
Many of Andrew’s clients come in with stress related to work or relationships. Andrew collaborates with these clients to identify their core values, priorities, and beliefs — their true selves — and to distinguish this authentic inner voice from the self-limiting beliefs that clients have absorbed from society, family, and previous experience. This process, in which negative patterns are exposed and the client’s strengths are highlighted, gives clients access to the knowledge and courage they need to make the changes that they want.
Warm, direct, and supportive, Andrew is committed to helping clients live authentically and regain a sense of choice, power, and meaning in their lives. To find out more about working with Andrew, click www.andrewkaplanlmhc.com/about/
