I integrate all the classical and contemporary methods and approaches that have been proven successful and beneficial
Natasha Despotovic is a homeopath with a practice in the DC metro area, also servicing patients at distance by phone and skype. She has practiced homeopathy for the last twenty years. In her work, she integrates all the classical and contemporary methods and approaches that have been proven successful and beneficial. She treats acute and chronic ailments, physical issues as well as mental challenges and emotional trauma: from injuries, aches and pains, inflammatory and infectious diseases, to chronic conditions, addictions, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. With an adequate homeopathic remedy, chronic diseases can be reversed or stopped in their progression, with an accompanying healing on an emotional and mental level.
Natasha has finished her homeopathy studies at the New York School of Homeopathy and has been privileged to study with the most acclaimed contemporary homeopaths like Rajan Sankaran, Divya Chabbra, Massimo Mangialavori, Resie Moonen, Paresh Vasani and George Vithoulkas, among others.
Due to her lifelong interest in wellness and holistic wellbeing, she has also taken part in numerous wellness and spiritual educational programs. She has been trained in yoga philosophy and practice, meditation and Ayurveda by the Himalayan Institute, Honesdale, PA, and the Shanti Yoga Center, Bethesda, MD, where she presently teaches one of her favorite yoga classes: water yoga. She has studied internationally, in Europe, Latin America and the US, and in a very wide range of disciplines and healing arts: Kundalini yoga, Hatha, Iyengar and Anusara yoga, Sufi spirituality, the Fourth Way, Reiki, Tantra, Foot Reflexology, Group Psychotherapy and Transcendental Meditation.
Her academic background is in languages, linguistics, literature and philosophy. She speaks seven languages and will be happy to work with you in your mother tongue if it’s English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Croatian or Dutch.
Her previous professional experience is very expansive and ranges from teaching, linguistics, translation and interpretation, film production, hotel management, architecture and interior design to public relations and marketing, book publishing, writing, international affairs, international development, film festival production and non-profit management.
She brings all these previous educational and professional experiences to her work with homeopathy patients. They have provided her with multiple avenues to a better understanding of human condition, which in her homeopathic practice results in a deeper and more refined insight into her patients’ challenges and yearnings.
She is a blessed owner of a small hotel property in the Dominican Republic, Villa Serena (www.villaserena.com) that she designed and built more than twenty years ago, and that is currently managed by a very enthusiastic and capable team. Together with her husband, Bill Dennis, who also works in the area of health, she periodically leads wellness retreats within its beautiful premises.
