Open House 11/9/17 - Julian Center for Comprehensive Dentistry
We always look forward to our Open Houses as a way for leading members of the health and wellness field to come together and share their unique perspectives on how best to serve their community. Last night’s event at the Julian Center for Comprehensive Dentistry in Ellicott City, MD was no different.
Hosted by Dr. Gene Sambataro and his dedicated team, Julian Center is leading the way in a fundamental shift in dentistry. By focusing on the health of the whole patient and preventative care, they are helping their patients improve not only their physical wellbeing but their lives as well.
Julian Center is not your run of the mill dental practice.
Their care moves far beyond the status quo of only engaging with patients when treating a toothache or other emergency services performed by dentists. Dr. Gene Sambataro believes in focusing on compassionate, comprehensive and preventative biological care that truly embraces the philosophy of Hippocrates: “First do no harm.” These dentists work to help their patients in a way that compliments their health, understanding the harm and risks involved in the use of mercury fillings, fluoride, toxic root canals and gum disease.
One way Dr. Sambataro is helping improve the lives of his patients is through he work with sleep apnea. In his new book, Stop the Snore (available on Amazon), he helps decode the mystery of what is preventing 1 in 15 people from getting a good night’s sleep. More importantly, he provides a plan for relief.
